About the Images

As I mentioned earlier in this web site, I am a self-taught sports photographer as are most sports photographers. The difference here is that during the decade of the '80's I was strictly a commercial photographer with commercial photographer's equipment. Needless to say, it was a big change. Eventually I realized that in order to compete with other sports photographers, I needed to invest in adequate sports photography equipment. I use Canon cameras and lenses. I also use some non-Canon lenses. However for the highest performance sports lenses, the manufacturers lens should be a primary consideration especially when using the long telephoto lenses.

The photos on this page represent the most current photos I have taken during the 2009-2010 sports season.
