About the Images

As you can see, the images here were all taken under existing light conditions. The play photos were all done the way Broadway archives their perfomances. After a performance, the photographer comes in to photograph the play usually from the end of the play to the beginning of the play. This way we can highlight only the moments of the play that the production staff feel are important. This way also gives me the freedom to roam around to any angle that would make a good photo. Technically, the play photos are done with the camera on a tripod using a lower ISO for better quality.

The live perfomance photos are done more traditionally using high ISO settings and fast lenses.

The photos on this page represent the work I have done and continue to do with Rutgers University's Mason Gross School of the Arts.Most of the photos here are from the theatrical plays. However as you can see, there are also some live musical perfomances, opera and dance.
